Frequently Asked Questions

Below we will add any frequently asked questions that we receive relating to this webinar.

General Questions

Will Pivot Point be adding level 3 resources?

As a company, we are looking into this and would like to develop resources across all our qualifications. Any development of resources takes time and at the moment we are concentrating on the adaptations and getting your learners through their qualifications

Can learners carry out their exams on each other?

Yes, practical examinations can be carried out on each other under the current Government guidelines. It is the centre’s responsibility to manage the cohort and centre risk.

Will summer exams be pre-exam assessments or will an iTEC examiner attend?

As a company we would like to resume the practical exams as soon as we are able to do so and send examiners out to centres, however, you will still be able to continue with the pre-assessments if that would suit you as a centre better.

Is there an end date to the Exceptional Measures where learners submit 70% of Case Studies and Treatment Evidences?

The VCRF consultation has been completed and we are waiting on Ofqual to confirm the arrangements for our qualifications.  This should be by the end of March and once we have this, we will then be able to give further updates.

Is there an adjustment to the number of case studies to be done for massage, reflexology and aromatherapy qualifications?

The VCRF consultation has been completed and we are waiting on Ofqual to confirm the arrangements for our qualifications.  This should be by the end of March and once we have this, we will then be able to give further updates.
