VTCT group paves the way for recognised beauty standards, with the launch of four new higher-level beauty qualifications
We’re delighted to announce that we are expanding the Higher Level Beauty Qualifications on offer in our VTCT and iTEC portfolios.
The following qualifications are available from 1st August 2023:
BT4A19 VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Award in Plasma Pen Techniques
BT5A4 VTCT (ITEC) Level 5 Award in Skin Peeling Treatments
BT5A5 VTCT (ITEC) Level 5 Award in Radiofrequency Microneedling Treatments
BT6A2 VTCT (ITEC) Level 6 Award in Mesotherapy Treatments
These qualifications enhance our current offering which includes qualifications in Laser, Intense Pulsed Light systems and High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound.
These qualifications pave the way for higher recognised standards in beauty and respond to industry demand.
As well as offering learners the chance to provide their clients a broader range of services, we believe that evidence of undertaking higher level beauty qualifications will help in their interactions with insurers, professional registers and standards authorities. Additionally, we anticipate that these qualifications will help to keep them at the cutting edge of an ever evolving beauty industry.
The rise of minimally invasive, non-surgical treatments, such as plasma pen treatments, has been prevalent in the industry in recent years and recent TikTok trends promoting the use of plasma pens further emphasises the need for the teaching of safe practices, which avoid the risk of users receiving permanent skin damage. It is important that high standards are maintained in the provision of Beauty treatments, and it is our aim to support centres and learners with qualifications that help them to do exactly that.
