Laraine Morris

Laraine feels passionate about the Hair, Beauty and Complementary Therapies industry and the principle of vocational education and training.

Her career in education led to a diverse range of teaching experiences working in further and higher education colleges, private training providers as well as working as an assessor, IQA and eventually EQA with City & Guilds before opening her own VTCT training centre, TLT Academy in May 2000. TLT started with two learners, growing year on year to a current annual intake of 100 learners.

Laraine identified a niche in the market for Beauty Therapy training products, which resulted in an eight year project working with a medical manufacturing company to produce the unique Tilly Head and Practical Therapy Units which her company, TLT Enterprises Ltd, now produce, market and distribute in partnership with VTCT through its endorsement.

Laraine has been a long time supporter of those affected by Cystic Fibrosis and has brings her experience as a charity trustee of Maitland Trust to her new role at VTCT.
